Wolford Mountain Reservoir tends to be a quiet lake without many people. The season tends to run from December to March, weather permitting.The Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual ice fishing tournament at the lake in February.
RV campers can use the campground, which is open all year. Other than that there aren’t any amenities at the park, but Kremmling is only a short ten minute drive. Wolford Mountain Reservoir is open to flies, lures and bait.
To ice fish you’ll need an auger to drill through the ice, which you can rent or buy online
Getting There
It’s situated just west of Kremmling on Highway 40. There are two entrances on your right about 7 miles out of town. Take the second one to access the main portion of the park.
