Jackson County, also known as North Park, is one of the northernmost counties in Colorado and one of the least densely populated counties with only 1,379 residents as of 2020. Walden is the county seat and only incorporated municipality.
The county contains the Never Summer Wilderness, the 71,000-acre Colorado State Forest, and the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge.
