Unfortunately, Tour de Steamboat is canceled for 2025, and indefinitely, until they find a new leader. Their operations team of 20 years has retired.
A non-competitive race that takes place across Steamboat Springs, the Tour de Steamboat benefits multiple nonprofits in the Yampa Valley area. It attracts more than 1,200 cyclists for this single-day bike ride in Northwest Colorado.
Chances to win prizes across all ages and ability levels make this event the perfect way to ease into racing. The last event was held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. Riders can choose multiple routes, including 20-, 46-, or 66-mile paved rides as well as 50 and 100-mile gravel trails.
Depending on which course they compete in, riders will be treated to beautiful views of Gore, Lynx, and Rabbit Ears Passes, the Stagecoach Reservoir, and Sarvis Creek.

Early registration is recommended, as the event sells out yearly and comes at a discounted rate. The Tour de Steamboat is also seeking volunteers, providing them with ride swag, a volunteer t-shirt, and lunch.
